YACHULI, APRIL 12 ; The Minister for Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry & Dairy development Tage Taki on Tuesday has launched a buy back policy for agriculture products for the upcoming Mega Food park in the state.
Addressing the launching ceremony, Minister Taki said that it is a happy moment that the upcoming mega food park lead promoter Likha Maj has initiated the system “ Buy back policy for the agriculture products” which include maize and Soybean as raw materials for production of various items in the said Mega Food park.
Today I have launched the system for two agricultural products which include Maize and Soybean by which the animal food meal would be prepared in the proposed unit in the food park near Banderdewa. At present there are lots of requirements in our local market in the state itself but if required the market opportunity and forward linkage which would be done as per demand for storage and for long term use. He said.
“Marketing of agricultural products has been a major concern for the farmers of Arunachal Pradesh. Several options have been explored so that the toils of our farmers are seamlessly paid off”. He said.
The MoU was signed between the farmer federation of Yachuli and the Lead Promoter LIkha Maj in presence of administrator of district and area including the officer of Agriculture and Horticulture department and advance amounts of Ten lakh has been paid to the farmers today. He said
The launching of buy back policy of the agriculture product would go a long way in promoting the agriculture and horticulture sector and enhance the economic condition of the farmer and would lead to the atma nirbhar and self reliant and self sustainability. Taki said.
These initiatives will also motivate the investors and the farmers to work with renewed vigour and substantially increase the production. A step towards self sufficiency in food products has been taken today by the Likha Maj. He said.
We believe that the farmers have grown up in many fields since launching of atma nirbhar schemes and hundreds of farmers have been befitted in agriculture, horti and fishery. The state government has also given more focus in atma nirbhar scheme 260 crore has been invested and equally they will be given subsidy from banks and hope that the schemes are much beneficial. He said.
The state government is supporting the farmers in different ways and the state government is preparing guidelines of the said 520 crore and would be made for the public. Taki added.
He also further said that the state planning deptt needs to take care of such works in priority which include the industries and soon the state government would establish farm gate where small cold storage would be constructed as per demand.
Yachuli ADC Toko Babu emphasized the farmer not to destroy greenery in the name of faring and requested to go for cultivation of agriculture and horticulture in their own specified land.
Mega Food Park, Lead Promoter Likha Maj in his address said that today a down payment of Ten Lakh has been paid to the farmers and an amount of Rs. One Crore would be paid to the cluster farmers of the Yachuli and soon I shall look forward to other parts of the state and the farmers community.
He assured to work for the promotion of agriculture and horticulture in the state and shall look forward to the Mega food park commission soon after completion of few works which include infrastructure development in the campus.
Several farmers of Kal Palyin cluster level federation of Yachuli which include Toko Mama, President and Taj Yal Toko, Secretary also spoke on the occasion.
Lower Subansiri Agril Department Deputy Director Taso Butang, DHO T Murtem were present and take part in interaction ceremony of the beneficiaries who have obtained several scheme of bagwani yojana and horticulture schemes
