Deomali: A transformative moment unfolded at Government Secondary School in Deomali with the inauguration of its pioneering school laboratory building. Wangki Lowang, Hon’ble Minister (PHE&WS, DoTCL, and IT), GoAP, along with Vishakha Yadav (IAS), ADC Deomali, graced the event.
Funded through the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund-XXVII, the “Infrastructure Development of Government Secondary School, Deomali [SH: Laboratory]” project, valued at Rs. 51.00 Lakhs, was seamlessly executed by the dedicated team at APPWD Khonsa Division. The state-of-the-art building features three dedicated halls for Physics, Biology, and Chemistry laboratories.
The ceremony garnered the presence of dignitaries, including Head of Offices, public leaders, and the school’s revered teachers. Shri Wangki Lowang applauded the exemplary work of the Public Works Department, expressing confidence in the laboratory’s role in nurturing a scientific mindset among students.
Acknowledging the pivotal role played by the PWD Team, which included Executive Engineer Er. Taro Jeram, Assistant Engineer Er. Bengia Taggu from PWD Deomali Subdivision, and the now retired Junior Engineer Er. S. Yadav, the successful realization of this project marks a significant advancement for Government Secondary School, Deomali, promising a brighter academic future.
