DIG Itanagar Vijay Kumar flagged off  PCR vehicle exclusively for women Capital police

ITANAGAR, SEPT 29: The Deputy Inspector general of Police (DIGP) Itanagar capital complex on  Friday has flagged off police control room vehicle (PCR) exclusively for women and the police personnel in the said vehicle will also be women police.  

Speaking to media persons, the DIGP Vijaya Kumar said that for the better police and public relationship and to maintain law and order today the first vehicle of its kind has been flagged off and it will be deployed at vulnerable places like of marker area where expected presence of women are seen and observed mostly. He said

Itanagar is a beautiful city and presence of women police personnel with PCR exclusively for women was also felt necessary and today we did it. If necessary more vehicle in other important places will also be made available. He said.

Even if there is lack of sufficient manpower in ICR region but in any case of emergency and need of hour it is being managed from nearby area and nearby district and we have CAPF which are also deployed and the requirement are fulfilled. However we are receiving all support from the PHQ and state government in maintaining the sense of belongingness to the locality and the capital police appeal all section of society to extend helping hands and support to police, administration and government in maintaining the Itanagar capital complex with peace and tranquility, communal harmony and brotherhood and a beautiful place to live in.
