ITANAGAR, Aug 26: The Union Minister of Food Processing & Industry, recently re-elected as the National President of the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP)(Ram Vilas), Chirag Paswan, will visit Arunachal Pradesh in the last week of September to inaugurate the party’s state office in Itanagar.
Addressing media persons at the Arunachal Press Club, LJP state unit president Riba Pangia informed, “After his re-election as National President, Chirag Paswan will visit Arunachal Pradesh soon to inaugurate the party’s state office and also discuss various important party activities.”
During the recent National Executive meeting of the LJP held in Ranchi, Jharkhand, various important issues were discussed, including the upcoming Assembly, Panchayat, and Municipal elections. The state unit also decided to participate in the upcoming Panchayat and Municipal elections.
Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for withdrawing the Lateral Entry Bill and proposing provisions for future reservations in short-term or long-term policies, Pangia mentioned that although the LJP is with the NDA government, its leaders strongly opposed the recent Lateral Entry Bill in the interest of the common public. This opposition shows that the LJP can voice its concerns even against its own government if a bill is against the people’s interests.
He also informed that during his visit to the state, Union Minister Chirag Paswan will attend some official programs and meet with officers from his department in Itanagar.
