Arunachal Pradesh Police (APP) is mourning the untimely demise of Lt. Insp. Sochi Don. The dedicated officer, son of Lt. Taso Don and Smt. Yagom Don, and husband of L/Insp. Sunita Nabam, lost his life in a road accident just 3 km away from Seppa on the night of January 18, 2024, while on duty.
Lt. Sochi Don, who commenced his service in the East Kameng District on May 9, 2016, had served as the Officer in Charge of Police Station Seppa. Known for his sincerity, bravery, and unwavering dedication, he had developed a strong bond with the people of Seppa during his tenure, earning widespread respect.
In recognition of his exceptional professionalism and the sacrifice he made in the line of duty, Lt. Insp. Sochi Don was honored with full-fledged State Honors during his funeral today at his native village, Don, Kamle District. His passing is deeply felt by the entire APP fraternity, marking a significant loss.
