In an exciting development, Akashvani Itanagar, the local broadcasting station, has decided to expand the broadcast hours of its own FM channel, Arun FM 103.1 Mhz. The decision was made during a meeting of program heads, news heads, and sales heads of Akashvani in the northeast zone, held in Itanagar on June 3, 2023.
Starting from June 12, 2023, Arun FM 103.1 Mhz will initially broadcast from 6:00 am to 10:30 pm. However, after obtaining necessary technical clearances, the FM channel will eventually transition to broadcasting round the clock, providing non-stop entertainment and information to its listeners.
Previously, Arun FM 103.1 Mhz aired programs from 3:30 pm to 10:30 pm. With the new decision, the FM channel will extend its broadcast hours and bridge the gap period by relaying programs from Akashvani Itanagar’s Primary Channel and FM Gold.
This expansion of Arun FM 103.1 Mhz’s broadcast schedule marks a significant milestone for Akashvani Itanagar and the local radio landscape.
