ITANAGAR, JUNE 24 Hundreds of passengers and commuters to state capital city and from Itanagar to other destination were stranded for hours on four lane road (National highway-415) commuters allege negligence on the part of restoration timely.
The local commuters and passengers of various district and Assam and local tourist taxi and Tata sumos passengers allege that it is state of affairs that we have been stranded for more than two hours and there is no one to extend help or anyone to clear the road blockage. We are here for more than two hours but not even a JCB has been send by capital administration, highway authority and IMC who claim to be citizen friendly administration and people friendly government.
The commuters allege that the four lane road which is in the heart of twin capital city and the landslide point is located in between both towns and not a single official nor any officer come on spot whereas hundreds of passengers and commuters has been stranded on both side of the road since early morning 4 AM. We are really upset the way four lane road is being maintained as the four lane road is for name shake and it seems like a double lane and single lane road is a matter of great concern. We would like to urge upon the highway administration not to repeat again and agin as we are in capital city and we should be treated like that and if such happens in the state capital what we can expect in the district and circle and headquarter.
