57 member team of karatakas in national championship-2024 at Panchkula from August 15

NAHARLAGUN, Aug 10:  A total 57 karatakas team members of Arunachal Karate-Do Association (AKA) to represent Arunachal Pradesh in  the KAI All India Karate Championshipu-2024 to be held at Panchula, Haryana from August 15 to 18. 

Arunachal Karate Association while giving best of luck at a function held here at Karate Club, the AKA President  Likha Tara, all total 57 karatekas – 21 girls and 34 boys and 2 para player, who would represent Arunachal Pradesh in three-day Karate Association of India (KAI) National Karate Championship-2024 to be held at Panchkula Olympic Bhawan in Haryana from August 15, should play their game properly and maintain discipline. 

Tara urged them to showcase their best performance to become role model for their friends, family, community and bring laurel for state.  

Speaking to media, AKA President Likha Tara inform that the karatekes accompanied by coaches Sartam Tachu Rughu (head), Rakesh  Gamnu & Chunu Sangno (female) and manager Tachi Bagang would be leaving by train on Sunday for Haryana to take part in sub-junior (cadets), junior U-21 and senior events.

Respect your seniors, obey to coaches, maintain discipline and have better foods and diet and target to play with commitment to win medals. There is no reason why you cannot rise to the top list of medal winners as our players have high potential in games and sports and if we play with a commitment medals are sure. He said.

He urged the state Govt headed by Chief Minister Pema Khandu to develop the much needed facilities for the karatekas to hone up their skill and a indoor stadium is urgently required in the capital complex so that may sporting events and training can be made easily available. He said. 

AKA general secretary-cum-Arunachal Olympic Association treasurer Tai Hipik also extended good wishes to all karatekas for their best performances. But he cautioned them not to be undisciplined in any manner and respect their coaches and manager.
