ITANAGAR, NOV 8: The much-awaited 3rd Inter-State Cultural Exchange Program is all set to foster stronger bonds and unity between the communities residing on both sides of the Arunachal Pradesh and Assam border. Scheduled to take place from December 10th to 14th, this cultural extravaganza promises to be a celebration of diversity and goodwill.

The program, which had been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, is now making a grand comeback in 2023. Yowa Bullet, the Patron of the 3rd Inter-State Cultural Exchange Program, expressed his excitement during a press conference at the Arunachal Press Club (APC). He emphasized the significance of the event in bringing people from different backgrounds together, fostering unity, integrity, and communal harmony.

Yowa Bullet stated, “We consider Assam as the big brother of the North Eastern states, and this cultural exchange program is a testament to our close ties. It is a necessity to strengthen cultural connections among the various tribes and communities living on both sides of the boundary. Such events improve communal harmony, promote peace, and enhance relationships for overall development.”

This year’s program promises a wide range of activities, including sporting events, cultural performances, traditional showcases, and Miss and Mr. competitions. Teams and individuals from both Assam and Arunachal Pradesh are encouraged to participate and showcase their talents, further promoting inter-state cooperation.

The inaugural day will witness the presence of the Deputy Chief Minister Chowan Mein, while the State BJP President and Pakke Kessang MLA Biyuram Wahge will be the chief guest at the closing ceremony.
