Rajya Sabha MP Nabam Rebia flagged off ambulances

Yupia May 13: Nabam Rebia, MP(Rajya Sabha), flagged off the Ambulances and Bike Ambulances for Primary Health Centers of Taraso and Mengio, today at DC, Papumpare Office Complex at Yupia in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Minga Sherpa,IAS, DMO Dr. K. Perme, EAC Mengio Tana Bapu, CO Tarasso Rome Mele, other head of departments, Programme officers and officials.

 Taraso Circle and Mengio Circle are considered to be one of the remote outposts of Papumpare Districts, with communication bottlenecks existing to this date.  With the intention of prioritizing Medical facilities for these two remote Circles, Minga Sherpa(IAS), conceptualized the idea of providing Ambulances that can have off-roading capabilities to a certain extent. And with this objective, two numbers of four-wheeler ambulances were provided for the PHC Taraso and Mengio.

Also, for the first time in the history of Arunachal Pradesh, two numbers of Custom-built Bikes with boxes for medical accessories were designed and worked out by the District Administration of Papumpare. Considering the low penetration of telecommunication in Taraso and Mengio, 8 sets of High-Frequency walkie talkies were also distributed for both the Primary Health Centers of Taraso and Mengio.

Minga Sherpa, DC Papumpare, under the same banner has provided a Bike for Circle Office Taraso, to deliver Daks and other official works and a Generator Set was provided for EAC Mengio Office.

DC Papumpare further added to the communique that – two brand new Futsal turfs are underway for Kimin and Sagalee, which will be operational by the end of May 2022. Also, under the same initiative a Football Gallery for Balijan ground has also been sanctioned and the work is under progress. 

Minga Sherpa(IAS), who is getting released from Arunachal Pradesh to Jammu& Kashmir this month, has requested that all these facilities, as conceptualized by him with the help of the State Government – will be used in the best possible ways by the youths of Papumpare.
