ITANAGAR, Nov 21: The District & Session Court, Yupia on Monday kept reserved the bail petition hearing procedure of Minoty Borang, Tapir Saroh and Kabit Jomang, who were arrested in the APPSC AE (Civil) exam question paper leakage case.
After a court procedure of several hours, the court decided to keep the matter reserved, however, it may be declared either on Tuesday or Wednesday, said Public Prosecutor advocate Ojing Pada.
Accused Minoty Borang pleaded before the court on the grounds of her six minor children and being a lactating mother while Tapir Saroh & Kabit Jomang sought bail claiming that they were not involved in the case, added Pada.
Responding to the question by media on the expectation of the decision of the court, Pada said, the matter is with the judges, however, evidence has been submitted before the court. The records and documents of Tapir and Kabit have also been submitted, Pada added.
In the meantime, since the beginning, the aggrieved candidates have been protesting near the court.
The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) paper leakage case has already been handed over to the CBI.
Initially, the Capital Police began the investigation into the case and arrested a few persons, later the SIC took over the case and arrested more other persons including government officers, candidates and others.
