SEDE, JAN 13 : I have been endorse by the people of 8th Bameng Assembly constituency and they want that I should contest the upcoming assembly election even if I did not get the party ticket of the ruling BJP . However I will apply for party ticket and it is upto the party to authorized for the same. Said Anne 8th Bameng Reformer’s Chairman and social workers Ramjo Pordung.
Pordung was speaking to media at the sideline of a public meeting and get together programme of the people of Bameng assembly constituency at Sede Village In Pakke Kessang district on Saturday afternoon. I am dedicated social workers of the area and since long I have been associated with several social welfare activities and others pubic oriented works. The ‘Anne 8th Bameng Reformer’s’ was established by the likeminded people with APB&OCWWB former Chairman Jaley Sonam as Patron and self at Chairman to carry out several activities. He said.
I tried my best effort to know the mode of the people of Bameng and it was everyone desires that I should contest the upcoming assembly election. I have witnessed the political setup for last 20 years and I find that there is need of a change in the leadership and I will be one of the candidate. I could be abel to change the pace of development under the vision and leadership of Pema Khandu, Kiren Rijiju and Narendta Modi He said.
I do support to avoid the money culture in election and the old culture need to be avoided and now people have also come to know that if you want development we have to avoid the money culture in all election activities. He said.
I am an active member of ruling BJP and will always look to the party for the party ticket to contest the election but today I take the advice and suggestion of the thousand of public gathered here at Sede and find the mood of the people that I should contest the election even if the party ticket is not given to me. The message given by the people today to the party high command with a request for providing party ticket. It is the wisdom of the party high command . I am admirer and follower of the visionary Chief Minister Pema Khandu in state and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in centre with support of Union Minister Kiren Rijiju. He said.
I have kept my vision for a new Bameng Assembly constituency and appeal the people not to lure under the influence of money culture and assured to work for the development of Bameng assembly constituency and welfare of people. Added Pordung.
He further informed that I have tendered my resignation as Chairman of the Anne 8th Bameng Reformer’s to the patron who will be next Chairman to carry forward the social welfare activities as I will honour the desire and advice of the people in politic to contest the next election.
Earlier Goruk Pordung was given warm resection by hundreds of supporters and well-wishers.
As per information there are four aspiring candidate form 8th Bameng assembly constituency of East Kaemng district which include sitting MLA Goruk Pordung, former Home Minister Kumar Waii, APFC Chairman Tungri Effa and Ramja Pordung
