Several dustbin of IMC stolen away, FIR Lodged, Mayor appeal citizens to use the IMC garbage vehicles dustbins

ITANAGAR, JAN 19 : Several garbage dustbins of Itanagar Municipal corporation (IMC) has been stolen away by the miscreants which is not at all good sign in a civilized society as the garbage bins are only for garbage management which should be kept as it is for the public utility service. Said IMC Mayor Tame Phasang.

Speaking to media, the IMC Mayor Tame Phasang has claim that several garbage bins( dustbin) kept for public utility service has been stolen away and is not a sign and practice in a healthy society as miscreants should try to understand that the bins are not for use of a particular family, street but is for utility of general public in the urban are of the city. The IMC Has already field FIR with police to find out culprit and give awareness of the utility and need of garbage dustbin in IMC areas. He said.

Mayor while endorsing the garbage management is a big challenge and we will overcome the burden and become success and yield good result only if all the stake holders right from top to bottom share their responsibility being a good and concise citizen and act as a responsible and intelligent people. We always compare our previous position of 7th dirtiest city tag and has overcome and is only due to the cooperation and support of the general public and it should be continued time and again so that our city Itanagar which is capital city of Arunachal Pradesh remain clean and hygiene. Said IMC Mayor Phasang.

The fleet of vehicle for carrying of garbage’s for IMC has increase, the compactor vehicle, swiping vehicle and septic vehicle will also be pressed into service soon. The denizens cooperate by disposing their garbage’s in the IMC vehicles whch come to respective wards, sector and colony. The IMC Mayor added.
