ITANAGAR, JUNE 12: The PHED & Water Supply and DoTCL Minister Wangki Lowang on Monday inaugurated several projects in Namsaing assembly constituency in Tirap district in the presence of several eminent personalities.
The important projects include a rostrum at the general ground in Deomali town and an RCC bridge over the Namchu River, as well as other projects of public importance.
The rostrum was constructed by RWD with an estimated cost of Rs. 70 lakhs and funded by SIDF 2021-22, while the 15-meter span RCC bridge over the Namchu River with a CC approach road has been funded under SIDF 2021-22 with an estimated cost of Rs. 150 lakhs and executed by RWD, Deomali Tirap.
Deomali ADC Vishaka Yadav, other HoDs and officers from RWD, and other local officers, village chiefs, PRI leaders, and the general public of the area were present on the occasion.
Minister Lowang said that the rostrum has been constructed and dedicated to the public to organize various types of games, sports, administrative events, cultural festivals, and other state and national festivals. He appealed to the public to make the best use of the public projects.
