NES and ANSU Resolve Internal Disputes to Uphold Institutional Integrity

Itanagar: The Nyishi Elite Society (NES) and the All Nyishi Students’ Union (ANSU) resolved their internal conflicts during a joint meeting held on July 3, at the NES Research and Heritage Centre in Richi Jullang, Itanagar.

The meeting, chaired by NES President Prof. Tana Showren, aimed to address and mend the strained relationship between ANSU President Naba Dodum and General Secretary Gora Rikam Bhai.

After a detailed assessment of the issues, General Secretary Gora Rikam Bhai expressed regret and issued a formal apology for breaching the ANSU Constitution and failing to adhere to three out of four resolutions from a previous meeting on December 20, 2023. He assured the attendees that such actions would not be repeated.

In response, ANSU President Naba Dodum accepted the apology and agreed to revoke all official notifications, including the show cause notice issued to Mr. Bhai and other executive members. This move was aimed at restoring trust and unity within the organization.

The resolution was signed by key representatives, including NES General Secretary Heri Maring, reaffirming their commitment to the integrity and honor of their institutions and the well-being of the Nyishi community.
