Debia Tara attended two days meeting of 34th AGMs of Poultry federation of India.  Submitted memo to union minister on behalf of farmers community

ITANAGAR, SEPT 30 : The Arunachal Pradesh poultry & fish farmers federation (APPFFF) President Debia Tara attended the 34th annual governing body meeting of poultry federation of India as special guest on September 27th & 28th at Goa. The state presidents highlighted and presented several grievances of poultry and fish farmers of state and region to the union government.

The two day annual governing body meeting was held on September 27th & 28th respectively at Hotel Alila Diwa by Hayat, Goa wherein the executive members form across the country and the representative fo state federation and others were attuned the meeting. 

Tara who attended the function as special guest alongwith Poultry federation of India (PFI) President Ranpal Dhanda and union minister of state fisheries, animal husbandry & dairy development Dr. Sanjeev Balyan and others.   

Tara while addressing the function as special guest said that the poultry sector and fish farmers of state and region got lots of difficulties and have several grievances which need to be solved either by the lender banks or by state government and central government so that they become self reliant and self sufficient and economically sound to promote the business and service to the people. 

While lauding the implementation of the national livestock mission scheme (NLM) under which entrepreneurship component for establishment of rural poultry, sheep, goat, pig farms and feeds and fodders are implemented. It is a great opportunity to grab the opportunity for the unemployed youths to groom in farming business sector. He said

The state government in Arunachal Pradesh has also conduct several exercise with all procedures as per feasible of NLM guidelines. but the lender bank are not taking initiatives despite direction given by the ministry to disburse the amount for the project. Several letters has been written to the department and to government of India and direction issued in this regard. He added.

Therefore, a memorandum has been submitted to the union minister for state on the occasion to take up the issue and issue fresh direction to the lender banks keeping in view of the grievances being faced by the farmers of state. The same problem may have been faced in few others states too. He added.

PFI is an apex and renowned association of poultry farmers, breeders, equipment manufacturer and all allied industries. The organization represent the Indian poultry sector.
