Changlang, September 2 – In a swift and heroic response, the Assam Rifles came to the rescue of a 33-year-old man, Mr. Reyaj, who had a harrowing accident in Changlang on September 2, 2023. The accident occurred when Mr. Reyaj crashed his bicycle into a concertina coil, causing critical injuries to his face, particularly suffering a supralabial cut injury above his upper lip.

Rfn Joseph Sharma of the 31 Assam Rifles unit took charge of the situation, bringing Mr. Reyaj to the Assam Rifles Unit Hospital promptly at 1630 Hr on September 2, 2023.

The highly skilled medical staff at the Assam Rifles Unit Hospital sprang into action, providing life-saving medical care, stabilizing Mr. Reyaj’s condition. Once he was stable, he was transferred to the district hospital in Changlang via ambulance for further medical attention.
