Abu Takia Memorial Society Sponsors Enriching Study Tour for Govt. Sec School Chimpu Students

Abu Takia Memorial Society generously sponsored a study tour for the students of class 9 at Govt. Sec School Chimpu on January 18, 2024. This enlightening excursion was tailored for students who had chosen Tours & Travel as their Vocational Subject.

Under the guidance of their dedicated Tours & Travel teacher, the students explored the cultural tapestry of the state by visiting key attractions, including the state museum and Itanagar Gompa. The tour aimed to instill a deep understanding of Arunachal Pradesh’s rich heritage, emphasizing its significance from a tourism perspective.

Hiba Jumpi, a 9th-grade student, shared her enthusiasm, stating, “The State Museum is a great place for those who want to know about Arunachal Pradesh. Had an amazing time in the North East section learning about our neighboring states too. The carvings in the Gompa were mesmerizing.”

Biri Yasi, another student, expressed, “It was an amazing experience to see the display in the museum and learn about Buddhism through the Gompa visit. The study tour has really broadened my horizon, and I learned so much about the rich heritage of our state. Getting to know about the various tribes that I didn’t know existed was an eye-opener.”

The Head Mistress and the tourism teacher conveyed their gratitude for the timely support provided by the Abu Takia Memorial Society.
