31 Battalion ITB Police Force organized ‘Swachhata Hi Sewa Campaign

 31 Bn ITBP Yupia, conducted cleanliness campaign on the  occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary under Swachhata Hi Sewa Campaign. The campaign was carried out in Yupia Market and also from Yupia to Doimukh on NH-13A along 8 Kms stretch. Today’s campaign is the culmination of various activities being carried out since 15th Sept -2023 both at Bn Hq and at forward locations. The campaign was actively carried out with participation of Jacob Hooriah Commandant, Navin Panchpal Second in Command along with 158 officers and men,  32 families of ITBP, 2 teachers and 20 children from B.K. Mission School, Doimukh.

On this occasions, Jacob Hooriah, Commandant emphasized that cleanliness is not just a physical act but also a reflection of our thoughts and intellect. It is not only our individual responsibility but also a significant contribution to the development of our society and nation. Cleanliness goes beyond mere physical cleanliness. It symbolizes the cleanliness of our thoughts and consciousness. We should make an effort to keep our thoughts clean and positive, ensuring our mental well-being. The importance of cleanliness should be seen not only in the context of the environment and health but also in the development of our society and nation. Through cleanliness, we can prevent the spread of diseases and create a healthy environment for ourselves. Furthermore, cleanliness also contributes to shaping the image of our country. Clean and beautiful nations are respected globally and lead in the direction of development.
